TPACK MODEL

 TPACK (Technological Pedogogical Content Information) is a framework that tells that the activities planned to follow technology in education.It intersects content knowledge, pedagogical knowledge and technology knowledge in a meaningful way, and enables teachers to integrate effectively. It is the intertwining of technology, pedagogy and technology with an appropriate approach to a discipline.It has three main components, these are "Content Knowledge (CK)", "Pedagogical Knowledge (PK)" and "Technology Knowledge (TK) . In my this blog I will explain these three main components in a detailed way. 
 Content Knowledge (CK) is the concept that encompasses information on the subject taught or learned. This information can include facts,concepts,ideas and approaches.
Pedagogical Knowledge (PK) is the concept which is about how we can bring the content knowledge to students. For example, collaborative learning, project-based learning, etc.
Technological Knowledge (TK) is the concept that encompasses knowledge of technological tools and how resources are used. For example, smart board use, tablet and laptop use, etc.
 Apart from 3 main concepts, it includes 3 more concepts. These are Pedagocical Content Knowledge (PCK), Technological Pedagocical Knowledge (TPK), and Technological Content Knowledge (TCK).

 Pedagocical Content Knowledge (PCK) is the concept that includes choosing the teaching and learning method that best suits the content knowledge we have and planning the activity.

 Technological Pedagocical Knowledge ( TPK) is the concept which involves choosing the most appropriate technological tool to be used in the learning approach. The tool chosen should motivate the student to learn at a higher level and be supportive in ensuring permanent learning.

 Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) is the concept that involves using your knowledge of technology to effectively convey your content to your students.

 I have learned from this video that this circle is extremely useful and, when used correctly, it ia a hidden key to learning and teaching. As it said in the video technology may cause losing sight of goals and objectives for student learning. But TPACK allows teachers to create an environment without losing the good effect of teaching. That is why I find TPACK useful and necessary for technology-based era.
